MEDIATOON DISTRIBUTION sells and markets high-quality animated series worldwide, exploitable on all media: TV, DVD, VOD, Mobile and IPTV.
Its library is rich with over 2500 hours of youth programming, with popular series such as GARFIELD, TINTIN, LUCKY LUKE, ASTERIX, CEDRIC, SPIROU and YAKARI.
INTERNATIONAL SALES AND MARKETING ASSISTANT (INTERNSHIP)
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales:
Search for prospective TV channels in developing territories
Take meetings, organise agendas and prepare for the markets
Send and update the prospection material (flyers, DVDs…) and track the clients’ interests
Administrative sales support (follow-up for invoicing, distribution material…)
Marketing:
Assist the Marketing Manager in the preparation and organisation of markets (principally, MIPCOM and MIPTV)
Update the website (Mediatoon, TVFI…)
Proofread the catalogue, newsletter and flyers in English
Send press kits to clients (press images, scripts, synopsis…)
PROFILE:
You should have a strong interest in the audio-visual industry as well as children’s programmes
You should be organised, thorough, resourceful and able to work independently in order to assist the sales team
You must be fluent in English
You must be able to competently use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Basic competency in File Maker and Photoshop is appreciated
KEY INFORMATION:
Place of work: 19th arrondissement, Paris
Length of placement: 6 months
Salary: €650 + 50% reimbursed Navigo
